In 1928 he is for the first time in Berlin where he gets
married. He teaches until 1985 at the School of Art in Berlin.
In the '30s he was among the most important exponents of
the avanguard and realist Movement in ltaly. Be worked together
with very famous architects like Rogers, Albini, Zanuso,
Bottini, Lingheri and Terragni. In collaboration with Bottini
he planned the quarter QT8 in Milan. From 1955 he is just
a teacher and a painter. In 1983 he exhibits paintings and
sculptures in Berlin and Moscow together with his wife.
In 1987 he exhibits in Magdeburg, East Germany.
